This show travels to the heart of Texas where presenters Nick Baker and Michaela Strachan encounter the most famous prairie animal of them all - the mighty buffalo. Howie Watkins takes a Texan safari with a difference and finds giraffes, zebras and wildebeest. Nick meets one of the friendliest animals in the whole of America - the prairie dog.

The series about the world of nature visits Venezuela, the Caribbean and Longleat. Nick Baker and Howie Watkins contemplate a dip in a Venezuelan river which is home to piranha, crocodiles and electric eels. Michaela Strachan finds some dangerous creatures in the Caribbean, from frigate birds and laughing gulls to pistol shrimps and orchids. And the whole team embarks on a wildlife safari to Longleat in Wiltshire.

This edition visits the wilds of Finland, where Michaela learns to be a husky sled driver. Meanwhile, Howie penetrates deep into the forest in search of wolves.

Michaela and the team travel to Trinidad and Tobago where they meet a top wildlife photographer and spend a night on a tropical beach to see the largest and most mysterious sea turtle.
